When can I tour the venue?

Are we allowed to use vendors of our choice?
Yes. We have a suggested list of vendors we love and will share with you upon booking, but the choice is up to you! All vendors must be professional and self insured. Caterers must prepare, serve, and clean up.
Is insurance required?
Yes, an Event liability insurance policy of $1,000,000 is required. We recommend Event Cancellation insurance in addition to this. We will provide you with a contact for acquiring this.
Are planners/coordinators required?
Yes, we require a planner or coordinator in order for your day to run as smoothly and stress free as possible. We have an in-house coordinator that you have the option to add-on to your package or you can choose another industry professional.
What is your alcohol policy?
Beer, wine, and champagne is allowed to be brought in, but you must have a licensed and insured bartender to serve it to your guests. Liquor is allowed to be served in the form of mixed drinks. This requires a Liquor Liability permit from the State of North Carolina.

Yes, we are completely ADA compliant, along with handicap parking and bathrooms.
If I want to have a reception only event does the price change?
The price remains the same as our wedding packages, as we only host one event per day.
Where do our guests park?
We provide a gravel parking area in front of the barn that is clearly marked and has plenty of space to accommodate all of your guests.
Do you have heating and air?
The entire facility (grooms room, bridal suite, banquet hall, kitchen, and bathrooms) is all climate controlled. We also have the option to open all barn doors and have an open air venue if you choose.
What does your kitchen space consist of?
Our kitchen includes a 16ft counter space, sink, microwave, standard refrigerator, deep freezer, and ample shelving. This kitchen is not for cooking; it is prep space only.
Will a staff member be available during the event?
Yes, a staff member will be on site for the duration of your event.
Is there a rain option?
Yes, we have plenty of space inside of the barn for ceremonies and receptions.
Are there overnight accommodations nearby?
Yes, there are hotels and Airbnbs less than 10 minutes away.
Can I bring my own decorations?
Yes! We do have a collection of our own that you are welcome to use as well.
What is your trash policy?
We provide trash cans and trash bags. You are responsible for trash removal, or you have the option to pay a disposal fee and have us take care of it for you.
How many restrooms are available?
There are separate men and women’s restrooms with 3 stalls each, handicap accessibility, and a changing station for your little ones.
Is there a designated smoking area?
Yes, there is a clearly designated area in front of our parking lot. Please refrain from smoking in other areas.
Are candles allowed?
Unfortunately we do not allow candles.
Can I have a sparkler exit?
You certainly can! We have multiple areas for your grand exit.
Are silk petals and confetti allowed?
No, they are not allowed in order to preserve the natural beauty of the landscape and to not endanger the wildlife.
